How do you ensure you get the best marijuana butter anywhere in the world. Easy, just follow our simple instructions.

As much as possible you should try to follow the directions to the letter for the best quality. The simple truth however is that the final product will only be as good as the marijuana you have used to make it with. Some people like to increase their variety of how they consume the butter so they can opt to make a mild form of the butter which they can use for as a spread on their bread during breakfast. Another option is to add the butter, a small portion say a teaspoon or two on a baked potato. If you would like to experiment with the baked potato make sure you also add some crumbled bacon bits together with some chopped scallions.

Step One

Place a medium saucepan on the stove and pour a quart of water into it. Bring water to a boil. The amount of water can vary, all you need to be sure of is that the weed should float in the water at about 1 ½ to 2 inches from the pan’s bottom.

Step two

Once the water starts boiling, add the butter to it and let it melt completely. The variations for this recipe are as follows: for every ounce of marijuana you can use four sticks of butter. So if you have half an ounce of weed you should use at least two sticks of butter.

Step three

When all the butter has melted it is now time to add the weed to the mixture. It is also at this time that you should turn down the heat to low so that the mixture is barely simmering. For this recipe what I do is to let the combination to sit on the fire for almost three hours. Normally you know it is ready when the top layer of the mixture starts turning from being very watery to thick and glossy.

Step four

While you wait for the marijuana butter to cook, you can begin to set up. Place a bowl where you will set the cooked product. It is safer to use an oven proof dish, however some people also use plastic food containers. Over the top of the container, put a double layer of cheesecloth and tighten it in place using string, elastic or tape.

Step five

Once the mixture is ready strain it over the bowl while being careful not to spill it. When all of it is on the cheesecloth undo the string and pick the cloth from all sides and squeeze any remaining mixture.

Step six

Let the mixture cool for at least an hour. Store in the fridge until the butter settles on top of the mixture and is firm. This is when the THC has attached to the butter. Using a knife remove the butter from the mixture.
